This is a small shop. It’s great for pick up. However, there’s not a lot of seating or tables to hang out and eat the goodies.
Paderia in Fountain Valley was a surprise to find, as I was looking for a new coffee spot to try in the area. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered Malasadas almost as fresh and tasty as those I go back to Maui for again and again. The banana pudding and Portugese Egg Tart are also a must-try along with any of their coffee items. I ordered the Mazapan iced coffee, and it was smooth and flavorful, but most importantly, not overly sweet. I will come back to try other menu items that struck my interest. The staff is friendly and makes your order feel special!

Croissants were some of the best I ever had, the caramelized bits melt in your mouth.
A good ensaymada is so hard to find - this one is a dream! Light and fluffy, yet also topped with rich and decadent cheese and sugar. This has to be enjoyed warm as the cheese and butter melt into a gooey topping! This is the second best ensaymada I’ve ever had - my dad still makes the best from a traditional family Filipino cookbook!
I Absolutely LOVE this Place! ❤️❤️❤️ Best cookies I've had since I was a kid! I used to bake a lot with my family as a child and have never came close to a thick warm tasty cookie 🍪 like Paderia !! Had this bakery on my hit list for a while. Wanted to try their Portuguese egg tarts...and they were AMAZING!
Best cookie and pastry shop, specializing in Filipino goods. We stopped by TJ Maxx but we didn't realize this was a famous cookie shop until we came in. We have tried the cookie, banana pudding,pumpkin cheesecake and mango matcha. They all were super delicious 😋 we went back over n over again for the banana pudding n mango matcha. Highly recommend this pastry shop!
